Great place to work but not much job security, especially as a contractor. The people making the decision don’t view you as a person, just a number. Even if you out perform others, it doesn’t mean they will ever offer you a blue badge. Pay is good but long hours. Overall it was a good experience but not great.

Rolig arbetsplats med mycket kompetent personal och i mitt fall lyhörda chefer.Bra möjlighet att fortbilda sig.Bra och roliga kollegor.Ett litet minus är att det är så många stödsystem att jobba i men det funkade för mig.
Många möjligheter till internutbildning.
Stor orginisation där det kan gå trögt ibland.

Ericsson is a really great place to work. Everyone is kind and hard working. I was lucky to work with an amazing group of people and we all really were a team. The benefits are great and they give you a lot of time off. I also learned a lot and had an amazing Director who really poured into me. However, they work you hard and overtime is not uncommon. They also don’t do promotions unless they have to. In my opinion, the good far outweighed the bad.

The pay is good for someone new to the industry. Can't argue with the benefits. Management is horrible though, unreliable, only looking out for themselves, very hypocritical. Usual corporate BS.

It was a really fun eye-opening experience, I learnt a lot and the people there are very friendly and there’s mutual respect amongst all colleagues. The best part was the frequent free food
No strict working hours and you can work from home anytime
Retrenchments happen very frequently
Ericsson is on the cutting edge of telecommunications technologies. They hire the best, and provide excellent pay and benefits. However in North America they are frequently lacking in basic human empathy as regarding employees. Very quick to release good employees, thus losing their talents, without considering if those talents can be used elsewhere within the company. Each internal organization leader holds tightly onto their own favorite staff members, without consideration for the abilities of those outside of their own fiefdom.

Many leaders do not care to ensure a balanced life for their people.
Cares about employees ,very good job security and benefits. Compensation depends on the unit and role. Not a technical company. Not a lot of scope to learn from technical perspective .

Foi minha primeira empresa, entrei aos 14 anos como estagiário em telefonia e saí aos 50 como projetista, seria engenheiro mas os planos econômicos do governo Color acabaram com os sonhos de muitas pessoas inclusive os meus. A Ericsson pagava 70% da minha faculdade de Engenharia de Telecomunicações quando a empresa teve de se nacionalizar devido à reserva de mercado e a crise econômica cortou muitas coisas na empresa incluindo minha ajuda.
