This is a great place to work if you want an international culture and appreciate people from everywhere. The company takes care of their employees and encourages growth. Although you have to be willing to adapt to change.
Ericsson is a great place for young adventurous people. It gives the opportunity to travel the world, learn different aspects of the management portion of business.

Learned project management,competence management, people management in matrix scenario and stakeholder management. Overall good workplace culture. Hardest part of the job was to convince business about quality initiatives and get their bye in. Interaction with senior leaders and mentors was an enjoyable part of the job. Team members always ready to support and collaborate with each other.

It is an excellent company to work with along with ample opportunity for learning and development depending upon the unit you belong to i.e. Some departments have very good opportunity for growth and some are very stagnant. Work environment is comfortable and management is supportive.

There is definitely a lot to learn at Ericsson. They have been around for ever it seems like. They have an interesting model. I enjoyed working on special projects. They talk a lot about diversity, but really do not promote women the way they should. It's a shame.
An excellent Organisation where every day comes with new challenges, oppurtunities, it feels that you are on a learning trail . I gained proficiency on HR Shared services management and freedom to implement my ideas which had major impact on HR as a whole. Work culture is collaborative. The only thing when it comes to Ericsson is speed of execution which is bit slow, that needs to be improved. Become responsible for your own initiatives, acknowledged for success however own the failures as well.

Days starts with mails and meetings. Calendar decides the way forward and fixes the path. Stakeholder Management and Team Management are the key areas apart from maintaining the business-as-usual at work.
I worked with many skilled people and the company had great potential in regards to service/equipment deployment. I feel upper management had different perception as to the requirements for a field deployment team than myself. I feel you need a highly skilled, agile and mobile team of professionals supplemented by sub-contractors to deploy and face with our local customers rather than have a large team placed throughout the country/markets. Work will not always be in a technicians back yard, travel is required to provided the proper and highest possible skills based on the scope of work and needs of the customers/projects.
Potential / Benefits
Work culture is good but needs more improvement.. mentoring facility within the organization such as need to engage few Senior people to share their experience, discuss with the junior resources to check their personal opinion regarding the organization etc.

All decision taken in concurrence with team or decisions are communicated well on time. lots of pressure on day to day work as market is very competitive. Out bond rantings are best time to get along with juniors and seniors. I learn a lot on organization setup, making business case & people development.

1) The nature of job is to support Global team and All regions dedicatedly in coordination with Technical team if required 2) All my experience was with SCM and handled many vendors.. Now working with Vendor side and seeing the other side of the coin. 3) People oriented Organisation.. 3) Good Team to work. 4) Process oriented. 5) Fun work place
