What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a AR Accountant within our Finance division in FLEETCOR. This role is located in Prague.
In this role, you will ensure that all cash receipts are posted and reconciled effectively on a daily basis. You will also post any month-end activities within the timelines, participate in the continuous improvement program, and support the Credit team with any customer queries
You will report directly to AR Accounting Team Leader, and will regularly collaborate with Credit team and other Accounting team within our Finance Department.
How We Work
As an AR Accountant you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment (2 days home office vs 3 days in office presence). Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Company-issued equipment: laptop, monitor and accessories + remote access for the Home Office Days. You can also request an office chair and a monitor to set up your home office working place.
Role Responsibilities
The responsibility of the role it to ensure an accurate and timely month-end close for EUF companies, including:
-
Daily processing of all customer payments from bank statements
-
Tracking misapplied payments, ensuring necessary corrections are made
-
Assisting credit team with cash application issues
-
Daily reconciliation of bank statements to cash applied
-
Assisting with the preparation of customer refunds
-
Assisting with the preparation and submission of Customer Direct Debits
-
Creating manual and intercompany invoices
-
Other ad hoc tasks as required:
-
Supporting the Team Leader with monitoring and control mechanisms.
-
Providing support for internal and external audit queries
-
Participating in business continuity, risk management, and continuous improvement plans
-
Contributing to achieving Accounts Receivable targets
-
Contributing to identifying areas of further standardization and automation opportunities within AR processes
Qualifications & Skills
-
3+ years of Accounts Receivable Experience: Approximately 3 years of relevant Accounts Receivable transaction processing experience obtained within a large complex organization.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all staff and executive levels within the organization.
-
Very good in English (written and oral)
-
Good knowledge of Czech language (written and oral)
-
Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
-
Meticulous and strong attention to detail
-
Deadline-oriented, good time management and organizational skills
-
Flexible, quick learner, positive ‘can do’ attitude.
-
Ability to multi-task and to adapt to changing priorities.
-
School/University studies in Finance is a plus
-
Experience in process standardization and improvement is a plus
-
Knowledge of EU VAT is a plus
-
High-level analytical, conceptual, and problem-resolution skills is a plus
