Develop in depth insights about shoppers within the retail environment and transform insights into actionable recommendations for our business to develop the category & grow. Support the implementation of Bussiness Planning Process - translate high level objectives and targets into actionable commercial operation plans.


  • Develop category insights and transform them into recommendation for business growth, Category date & Shopper Analysis
  • Facilitate implementation of ICP process (annual commercial strategy, brands´ plans) together with Category trends, building blocks
  • Be the category and shopper knowledge centre of excellence: Be the contact point to research partners sharing the necessary changes in portfolio, etc (Nielsen, GFK)
  • Lead Category trends & forecast incl. projected Category growth & Growth Drivers estimations
  • Contribute and support Category Channel Managers in the development and implementation of category and channel strategies– contribute to execution by continually sharing shopper-specific issues and learning with Key Customers, Field Sales, Brand Management and Sales.
  • Lead the portfolio optimisation process translate targets into recommendation of portfolio changes by channel and monitoring the results.
  • Responsibility for CATMAN (CZ/SK)


Proven track record in Strategic Category Management within FMCG market is a MUST (production/retail)

Cross Functional Experience in Sales/Brand Marketing/Shopper Marketing/Consumer Insights/Category Management is a considerable PLUS

Maturity and well developped communication skills are required (partner for senior stakeholders, data based recommendation, etc)

Strong ownership and pro-activity

Level of English AND Czech/Slovak languages that enables to communicate either with colleagues on CEE level in English or with our retail partners in local language
