Job Purpose

Commercial manager role combines brand management as well as customer facing responsibilities for key accounts.

Reporting into the Business Unit Head, this role is coordinating x-functional team to implement brand strategies locally through executing activities agreed in LOC Operational Plans and having full ownership and accountability for managing accounts within assigned territory; providing a consistent, science-led and value-added service for HCPs.

In this role, you will be dealing with…


  • Preparing local Business plan (based on Global plans) – coordinating x-functional team, ensuring learnings and Customer/Market Insights incorporated
  • Execution of operational plan: organizing marketing activities as agreed, managing A&P budget, tracking relevant KPIs, collecting insights from the field.
  • Localization of Global campaigns and materials: working closely with the Marketing operations center and local agencies.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns through agreed KPIs and insights from the sales team.
  • Full event management and interaction with 3rd parties for organizing the customer events (seminars, congress, etc). Including planning, implementation, evaluation, and tracking of events.
  • Administrative management of 3rd parties’ contracts (sponsorships, events organizing, etc), in line with company’s requirements (ABAC, SOP, etc); collecting, acquiring and archiving required documentation
  • Providing relevant inputs to financial planning and forecasting (pre-DRM)


  • Developing and executing a comprehensive and strategic account plan to drive value and deliver growth. Continuously identify and profile key target customers and find the opportunities to drive performance.
  • Establishing and developing effective commercial relationships to promote and competitively sell products.
  • Supporting the implementation of key marketing campaign in the assigned accounts which differentiate and enhance GSK’s standing in the healthcare market.
  • Ensure that key accounts and stakeholders are engaged, educated and informed to drive growth. Maintain high level of customer service with identifying and resolving customer queries and problems proactively.
  • Identify business opportunities within territory and be able to execute and follow up on progress and outcome.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage relationships with Healthcare Professionals, key institutions, professional associations, decision makers and other key stakeholders.
  • Working in partnership with GSK commercial and medical to deliver objectives in line with GSK strategic priorities.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • working experience in Pharma marketing role AND/OR Pharma sales role
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, a natural curiosity, and an ability to actively listen
  • Master's degree in Science, Marketing or Business
  • Czech language on native level, fluent English
  • Driver's license B, ability to travel within territory and domestically as required
  • Working knowledge of computer technology, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Excellent capacity to manage multiple complex projects
