About our team

We have a strong consulting team working on a complex transformation projects in Czech Republic and the CEE region as well as on projects in the Western Europe in cooperation with our colleagues there.

To further expand our team and our capabilities we agreed with our German colleagues to build a German speaking consulting team in Prague. The team will become embedded part of the broad German Financial Services consulting team.

About your manager

Petr Chadima leads our Technology consulting team for financial services. He spent most of his professional life on large-scale transformation projects for both Czech and foreign clients. And the main reason he still enjoys his job, he says, is because he works with the best people he could ever imagine. And also, he is supported by a wonderful family who, when he needs to relax, let him make completely unnecessary things out of wood.

Job description & summary

As a Manager in Consulting for German projects at PwC, you will lead this team – currently targeted to 15 people with intention to further grow in the second half of this year. You will have a crucial role in building this team and will work closely with our German colleagues on setting up all processes.

• Team leadership and management of the new Consulting team within our Consulting practice

• Leading projects from Requirement Analysis to Implementation and Change management.

• Proactively participating in new business development, including up-selling on current projects and creating offerings for new business opportunities.

• Communicating actively with colleagues and clients in German-speaking countries.
  

Requirements of the role

• Minimum of 8 years of experience within a multinational or local firm, preferably in Management Consultancy.

• Strong knowledge of business processes within the Finance & Banking sector.

• Proven track record in leading and delivering projects.

• Experience with leading medium size teams.

• Excellent analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in German language at the C1 level for active communication with colleagues and clients in German-speaking countries.

• Fluency in English and either Czech or Slovak.

• Willingness for ad hoc travel to Germany.
