About the job:
The Red Hat Support Delivery team is looking for a fluent German/Italian speaker with an interest in learning about Linux and other Red Hat technologies to join us as Customer Support Specialist in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will work as part of a multicultural and multilingual customer-facing technical support team that handles support requests from enterprise customers via telephone and web tickets. You’ll cooperate with technical support engineers by providing high-quality translations from German or other European language (French or Italian) to English. You’ll maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, own the communication between customers and senior engineers, and collaborate with a global technical team. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will get an opportunity to attend both technical and non-technical training. No previous professional technical experience will be required, as training will be provided to all employees.
What you will do:
  • Interact with customers on a daily basis regarding technical and customer service queries, record and document issues
  • Translate queries and technical updates from customers in German/French/Italian from written and verbal English
  • Work in a team of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) technical support engineers and cooperate with support management when necessary in order to resolve customer requests
  • Progressively solve more customer issues by yourself, as your technical skills grow
