Are you agile, exploration-loving, and passionate about the ability of People & Culture to deliver on key business strategy? As the Global People & Culture Business Partner you’ll collaboratively define and deliver the People Strategy in partnership with our Global Commercial, Finance and Digital & IT senior leaders. As a highly skilled business partner you will work to diagnose issues, brainstorm solutions, and influence strategy. The position requires strong business acumen to interpret financial, sales, and other business reports; effective coaching skills; strategic thinking; and project management skills. Our team is fast paced and requires someone effective in balancing competing priorities and conflicting opinions while keeping safety and the employee experience top of mind.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver and execute responsibilities in a safe & compliant manner.
  • Partner to senior leaders and managers to develop and implement people and culture strategies that align with the strategic and tactical business goals of the HX Commercial Department, Finance, and Digital & IT.
  • Proactive communicator, with patience. Incorporates effective listening as key to effective communication and problem solving.
  • Business minded with an understanding of the value of financial reports, sales reports, and people metrics to drive organizational performance and efficiencies and how to leverage those to support people related decisions and talent development.
  • Drive organizational performance and optimization including process improvement.
  • Collaborate in recruitment activities attract and retain top talent working closely with key stakeholders to fulfil hiring needs.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers across the broad People & Culture remit, including on engagement, reward (including incentives), performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
  • Leverage project management skills and continuous improvement to collaborate across the People & Culture team to ideate, create roadmaps for people programs, and drive results.
  • Analyse people data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement and effectively articulate business case for change.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by guiding employees through transitions and fostering a positive culture.
  • Promote the HX Culture as you champion and live the HX Purpose and Spirit

Experience required:

  • Solid foundation in international people operations or strategic business partnering with at least five years of experience supporting leaders with P&L responsibilities.
  • Experience predominantly supporting Global Guest Service Centres, Sales, Finance, and/or Digital & IT client groups and the agility to flex according to their varying needs.
  • Strong business acumen with the curiosity to understand assigned client groups and overarching business objectives.

Essential Knowledge & Skills:

  • Fluency in English required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or 10 years or more of related experience at a manager or above level in a global organization.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and deliver results.
  • Positive, creative, and resourceful approach to problem solving.
  • Demonstrable experience of optimising global sales and marketing teams, in both B2B and B2C business models, and supporting customer sales and service centre teams.
  • Strong understanding and experience of leveraging global HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations to effectively deliver on global strategies, locally.
  • Customer centric thought partner with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skill across all levels of the organization with an inclusive lens
  • Change champion comfortable working in a transformation and growth environment.
