Perrott Hill British School Prague is seeking to appoint an exceptional and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our growing Secondary and High School.

About the Role

The Art Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Art lessons across the secondary phase, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement.

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver high-quality Art lessons to students in Lower and Upper Secondary.

• Create engaging and creative learning experiences that inspire students to develop their artistic skills, creativity and confidence.

• Monitor, assess and support student progress.

• Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

• Contribute to curriculum planning and the ongoing development of the Art department.

• Support students' personal and academic development.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and students to promote excellent outcomes.

• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

• This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about Art, creativity, artistic development and international schooling.

Essential Experience and Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE, BEd or equivalent teaching qualification).

• At least one year of teaching experience.

• Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.

• Strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous professional development.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Advantageous Experience

Advantageous experience includes:

• Experience teaching within the Cambridge International curriculum.

• Experience organising art-related projects, exhibitions, cultural events or educational trips.

• Experience using assessment data to drive student progress and attainment.

• Experience contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.

• Experience preparing schools for inspection or accreditation processes.
