Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex space missions (some of these under ESA supervision)
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
• Lead / take part in a consortium of companies, fostering effective relationships and communication among diverse stakeholders.
• Employ both traditional project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2) and agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) to facilitate efficient project execution and delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to proactively manage project challenges.
• Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and presentations to engage team members and stakeholders, providing clarity and direction.
• Mentor and develop junior project managers, strengthening project management expertise within the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; (Master’s degree is preferred).
• 5+ years of project management experience, with significant exposure to the space, aviation, automotive or other engineering sectors.
• Experience with working in multisector consortium projects is an advantage, particularly in the context of space initiatives.
• Familiarity with both traditional project management methodologies and agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Ability to navigate complex project environments and foster collaboration among diverse groups.
